# GrowBlocks Dev Kit terms

Short version: **your game is yours. The GrowBlocks engine is ours, and you may use it only to make games that run on GrowBlocks.**

1. **Your game.** The code, art and sound you create for your game belong to you. So do the NFT collections and the coin you create for it from your own game wallet; GrowBlocks lists them with your game. Each NFT belongs to the player who holds it. By uploading a build, you let GrowBlocks host it, show it, review it and run it for players, and use its name, logo and screenshots to promote it on GrowBlocks.
2. **Our engine.** The GrowBlocks engine, SDK (`growblocks`, `gb`), the page around your game, our servers, contracts, characters, art, names and brand belong to GrowBlocks. They are not open source. You get a limited, revocable licence to use them only to build, test and publish games on GrowBlocks.
3. **What you may not do.** Do not copy, host or redistribute the engine, or use it to run games anywhere other than GrowBlocks. Do not use it to build a competing platform. Do not try to get around the sandbox, our review, or our fees. Do not collect players' passwords, seed phrases or personal data. Do not impersonate GrowBlocks or anybody else.
4. **Review and removal.** GrowBlocks reviews every build before players get it, including updates, and can refuse or take down any game at any time.
5. **Earnings.** While your game is live and follows these terms, you earn 70% of all the fees its collections, market sales and coin generate (10% goes to players as prizes and rewards, 20% to GrowBlocks). Part of your share is paid to you directly by the contracts and GrowBlocks pays the rest. Mint sales, royalties and any creator tax are yours on top. GrowBlocks can hold back payouts where there is fraud or abuse.
6. **Security.** If you find a security problem in GrowBlocks, report it to GrowBlocks privately and do not use it. Testing on other players' accounts or funds is not allowed.
7. **No warranty.** The dev kit is provided as is and may change.
