A Roblox and Fortnite UEFN alternative for game creators
If you want players to start your game from a link in any browser, on PC or phone, without installing an app, GrowBlocks is the alternative to look at. You code in JavaScript with the Dev Kit, players bring the same GrowBlocks character into every game, and you get 70% of all the fees your game's NFTs and coin generate.
Roblox and Fortnite have far bigger audiences today. GrowBlocks is new and small, and its revenue share runs on a test network for now.
Side by side
| GrowBlocks | Roblox | Fortnite UEFN | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where players play | Any web browser, PC and phone, from a link | Roblox app | Fortnite |

| Audience today | Small, early | Very large | Very large |
Roblox and Epic change their payout terms often. Check the current numbers with them, for example Roblox's April 2026 DevEx change and Epic's UEFN payouts passing $1 billion.
How the GrowBlocks share works
Of all the fees your game's NFTs and coin generate, 70% goes to you, 10% back to players (prizes, invite and plaza rewards) and 20% to GrowBlocks. Part reaches you straight from the contracts and GrowBlocks pays the rest. Mint sales, royalties and your creator tax are yours on top, and players pay nothing extra.
The revenue share is live on Robinhood Chain testnet only, paid in tPLAY test credits. It is not real money yet.
What you get that a blank engine does not give you
- Players who already have a character. Everyone plays your game as their own GrowBlocks character, and you can bring custom characters too.
- A place to be found. Live games appear on the games page and get a gate in the Games Plaza.
- Reusable parts.
npx growblocks addpulls in blocks other developers published (a city, checkpoint gates, boost pads), and every live game that ships your block pays you from GrowBlocks' share. - Multiplayer and hosting with nothing to run yourself.
When this is the wrong choice
If your goal is the largest possible audience of younger players today, Roblox and Fortnite are where they are. GrowBlocks' market features use crypto wallets (on Robinhood Chain), which not every creator or player wants.
The engine is licensed for games published on GrowBlocks only. You cannot export a GrowBlocks game to Steam, an app store or your own server, and you cannot self-host the engine. Your game code and art stay yours (terms).
